Upcoming Concerts Near You!



















Hey guyz n galz! This be Rock'r'Hard with updates on the exciting and upcoming rock concerts which coincidentally happened to be taking place in or close to your own hometown Weston. To start off,
I am enthusiastic and happy to announce that on Sat. March 14th 2009 , the city of Weston, in association with the Rotary Club of Weston, will be hosting their fifth annual free concert. The event is called RPM - Rock & Pop Masters at The Weston Regional Park (20200 Saddle Club Road) at the Event Stage beginning at 7:00 PM. and ending at 10:30 P.M. The RPM show features a group of original lead singers of some of the biggest, best music hits in rock history! It's the Classic Rock Dance Party you have always dreamed about! RPM includes famous rock legends:


Joe Lynn Turner- Deep Purple, Rainbow
Mark Farner- Grand Funk Railroad

David Pack- Ambrosia
Joe Bouchard – Blue Oyster Cult
Jeff Scott Soto- Journey

Larry Hoppen –Orleans

Robert Papst & Jane Bogaert- Dominoe

Plus Charlie Morgan on drums ( Elton John, Trisha Yearwood, Orleans ) ,

Secondly, I saved the best for last.... IRON MAIDEN is Comin!!! The Legendary fathers of metal are BACK on their “Somewhere Back in Time World Tour” in support of their latest release, 2006’s A Matter of Life and Death. Again coincidentially and luckily, the first listed stop for their tour in the U.S. is taking place at the BankAtlantic center in Sunrise on Thursday April 2, 2009 ar 8:00 P.M.   1. My friend danny was telling me all about the Iron Maiden concert today in fourth hour, he seemed so excited. When he mentioned that it will be at the Bank Atlantic Center, I was a little thrown off. When I think about the Bank Atlantic Center, I don't exactly think "rock concert". The whole seat thing just doesn't seem right for that type of concert, but then he mentioned that it would be general admission on the floor. If your going, have fun!

  3. For a free concert that is an insane line up, it's star packed from Deep Purple and member from Elton John, I plan on attending I went to last years hopefully the show can match it.
    And finally after 1000 years Iron Maiden decided to come back to good ol' Florida I hope anyone and everyone goes to this show it will be the show of a lifetime.
