Watch out!!! The Killers are on the Loose!

After releasing International hit singles like "Mr. Brightside", "When you were Young" and one of the theme songs for the 2008 Olympics, "All These Things That I've Done", The Killers are back with a fresh new album entitled "Day and Age". Like their previous albums, The Killers were very ambitious on the project and , and this fourth album extends their scope to mega stardom. Like their homewtown of Las Vegas, they have a flair for anything supersize and over the top, arena- rock styled anthems. This was shown in one of the key tracks for the album, the song dubbed "Human" , which was filmed in the in the extensive, neverending plains of the nevada desert with the band soaring high and giving you that kind of Bohemian Rhapsody- styled choirs and that epic feel when you hear the lyrics.
It debuted thirteen on the BILLBOARD modern r
ock chart and has peaked to number six ever since. It's also had wide success on international charts, most notably reaching number three on the UK singles chart. Many Critics have praised the Album for "stretching the soundscape of alternative rock, which has increasingly become difficult to differentiate between mainstream rock. The Killers also incorporate a gentle side of 80's new wave which contributes to their classic and well distinguished sound. As soon as the opening riff starts playing, you'll know its the killers. Other Key tracks include "Spaceman", "A Dustland Fairytale" and "I Can't Stay"

What' s the Deal behind Led Zeppelin???

The rumors have been everywhere, and YES!!! Led Zeppelin is planning a tour which is expected for 2009. So what's the deal with the delaying? I mean they haven't had a tour in 30 years, and the bands have been waiting eagerly. Their last concert was at London's famous O2 stadium, and it was a first in a LONG TIME!! Like always, Led Zeppelin did live up to its expectations and delivered the same kind of authentic British rock music fans had been waiting for. So what could possibly be wrong you ask? I mean, they're only one of the greatest rock bands in history, and they proved they can still rock as hard as they did back in the 70s. Well, the dispute comes in with Zeppelin's frontman singer Robert Plant. Plant has insisted that he has little inter est in an extended Zepellin reunion. He thinks the band is not ready for a tour, and says the whole idea of merciless repetition is not what its all about."I think the thing about it really, is that to visit old ground, it's a very incredibly delicate thing to do, and the disappointment that could be there once you commit to that and the comparisons to something that was basically fired by youth and a different kind of exuberance to now, its v ery hard to go back and meet that head on and do it justice." Plant had stated in an interview with rolling stones magazine. Meanwhile, the other three band members, Guitarist Jimmy page, Bassist John Paul Jones, and drummer Jason Bonham, son of former drummer John Bonham who passed away, have been having rehearsals with singers including Aerosmith's Steven T yler's, and most eligible candidate to perform with the band, Myles Kennedy. But the band wants to make one thing clear about the new project- Whatever it is, its not Led Zeppelin without Robert Plant. "There's no point in finding another Robert. You can get that out of a tribute band, but we don't want to be our own tribute band. We've got to have everybody on board." On the contrary, one concert industry source critic said the tour would do surprisingly well. They point out the band "Journey"'s latest concert as an example when Journey came back big with some no name Asian dude they found on "youtube" with a great imitation voice to replace the singer who refused to perform at a reunion. Ok! cut! Just to comment back on the industry "experts", and to prove that a fan knows a band better than some A%*hole mainstream analysts and critics, what is forgotten by this industry source is that first of all, Journey turned into a tribute band, exactly what Zeppelin is trying to avoid, and second of all, I speak for everyone when I say that THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IN THIS WORLD THAT CAN REPLACE ROBERT PLANT AND IMITATE HIS ASTOUNDING VOICE FROM THE HEAVENS! Sorry, i got a bit emotional there! Overall, the whole project is still unclear for Led Zeppelin . With Robert Plant, it would be as huge as huge would be. Without him, no one knows.
